“With ‘Oh Baby!,’ I really wanted to feature a really full sound of the band,” bandleader Jeremy Beck told Relix. “I’ve always been inspired by the big show bands from the 70s. I tried to toe the line between an early 60s soulful love song and a 1970s Las Vegas style show band. I personally love that full horn sound coming out of the guitar solo on the 2nd bridge. Labor Day marks a transition back to school, work, and the daily grind of life. And it’s for this reason that NYC-based funk band Jeremy Beck & the Heavy Duty Horns will release their new single, “Mountain,” on Labor Day Monday, September 6, 2021.
